Achievements

It gives us great pleasure to announce the outcome of the writ petition advocated by our group founder, Mr. Fahad Siddiqui at the Lahore High Court. Following the petition, Pakistan's Telecommunication Authority, which overseas telephony and internet services throughout the country is now in the process of banning 1,50,000 porn websites in the first instance. We are aslo delighted to add that explicit and vulgar English words as well as Urdu words of similar description are to be banned from usage in mobile sms according to PTA announcement.

ONGOING ACTIVITIES ....

**Earn a Community Service Certificate Scheme aimed at motivating people to work for the cause and create awareness in their cirle of friends, collegues and family. To register as volunteer, click here.

**Construction of sister site: Because We Care ... this is planned as another blog/forum from where we can extend help and support to people who are affected by the curse of porn and vulgarity in their everyday life. I reverted to Islam on April 24, 2015. And I started wearing the hijab two weeks after I took my Shahada (testimony of Islamic faith). It wasn’t easy for me because my family is against my decision to become a Muslim.

One of my daughters even told me that she doesn’t want to have anything to do with me. My mom cried and begged me to leave Islam. But I know Islam is the true religion and I thank Allah that I have been chosen to be one of His servants.

I believe that one day my family will accept me and insha Allah they will be reverted too in Islam. I am proud to be a Muslim and I show it by covering myself and using my hijab.
