Let's Wage a War Against Pornography in Pakistan
A petition has been filed in Lahore High
Court seeking cancelation of licenses for those internet and broadband
service providers who are unable (or reluctant) to block adult
websites, despite PTA’s orders.
Kashif Waseem through his counsel Fahad Ahmad Siddiqi has filed the
petition. He submits that pornography is one of the internets’ worst
crimes against children. Easy availability of obscene material websites
on the internet is resulting in increasing number of cases of sexual
violence against women.
